In late 2014, at the initiative of Jean Luc MOULY and Olivier MOUZAY, the CHD supported the creation of this group.
The group's initial objective: to map the NGOs carrying out surgical programmes, together with their practices and activities.
The group also seeks to develop a consistent approach to practices in the countries its members have in common, as well as an approach based on the requests (solicitations / expressed needs) of the countries in which these NGOs operate. The group meets three times a year, while email exchanges create synergies and keep its committed members connected.
